I’ve got a few random things to share but I would be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge that yesterday was the King’s birthday.

I believe I was seven years old when I got a record player for Christmas. Not only did I get a record player but I got an Elvis Presley album to go with it. Man I wish I still had that album.

A Google search has led me to believe that the album was Pure Gold.

Elvis in all his sequined glory.

I also got Steve Martin’s “Wild and Crazy Guy” album.
Can you sing “King Tut” all the way through?

I have no problem admitting it; I’m a Momma’s Boy. It might have something to do with the amount of time we spent dancing to that Elvis album in the living room.

My mom RULES!

Now on to more random things…

I got fresh tracks in the snow this morning at High Rocks. It was a great ride with, the Hands, X-Terra girl, and Mango who I just met today. It was in the low 20’s while we were riding. After one long and two short loops the three dudes ducked out to the car; X-Terra girl went out for another long loop. She showed us up. BIG TIME.

It made me think about this graphic I saw posted up by Cyclocosm.com

What’s your “Jens Factor”?

If you don’t know who Jens is, look him up. He’s a bad A@$!

Many people have given me grief for my Soccer Mom mobile.
Cuz Chris sent this my way. Suddenly the Soccer Mom seems a little more Nascar Dad.

The moral of the story is. Don’t mess with the Swedish Police, and don’t mess with the Volvo XC-70 Wagon.

Until next time….
