“I’m a supporter of gay rights. And not a closet supporter either. From the time I was a kid, I have never been able to understand attacks upon the gay community. There are so many qualities that make up a human being… by the time I get through with all the things that I really admire about people, what they do with their private parts is probably so low on the list that it is irrelevant.”  Paul Newman

The man did more than make kickin salad dressing and some darn tasty cookies.  He was before his time in his thinking.

This is probably my first politically oriented post.  I would like to go on the record and say “I don’t care what you do in your bedroom”  “I don’t care about your religious preference” “I don’t care about your political affiliation”  As long as you are not hurting anyone in a manner that they agree to or involved with a minor, It’s your business.

If we get to know each other well we can get around to having discussions… eventually.  Otherwise, keep it to yourself.  Be happy, Be safe, Don’t harm anyone.

I have friends that I don’t share the same opinions with.  It makes for lively conversation and occasionally enlightens me to a different way of seeing things.  We still respect each other and agree to respectfully dis-agree.  That’s OK.

This leads me to Prop 8.  If two people want to marry.  Go for it.  As long as you are both of sound mind and can agree too it. Go for it. Again I DON’T CARE.  And not in a bad way.  In my mind in a good way.

This also gives me an opportunity to post THIS LINK

If you are offended by a few curse words, or bigotry, or anti bigotry don’t click the link.

If you have a slightly warped sense of humor and agree with the sentiments posted above click away and chuckle.

Have a fantastic weekend.  I am going to ride my bike, build some new bicycles, and enjoy the company of friends.  Hopefully you do what makes you happy.
